The agenda for the night

Small sparks that make the night roar.

3pm - Arrival

We'll be hanging around having drinks. Nothing too serious here.

5pm - Sundowners

We'll gather at a lookout point for sundowner drinks.

7pm - Dinner

We'll have a quick dinner for those that want to eat.

8pm - Artwork burning

The effigy goes up in flames, gather close and watch it burn.

9pm - The festival starts

Music, dancing and the night really kicks off. Stay as long as you like.

Survival Guide

It’s winter on a game farm, come prepared.

Dress very warm

Kalahari winter nights get bitterly cold. Bring beanies, jackets, and proper layers.

Wear closed shoes

It’s rough, dusty farm terrain around the fire, sturdy closed shoes only, no sandals.

We strongly suggest booking accommodation so you don’t have to drive home in the cold.
